Norwegian outlet Sporten have corroborated reports from Scotland from the past couple of weeks which claim centre back Kristoffer Ajer will be sold at the end of the season. The defender for Celtic FC has played a starring role this season and as of yesterday, has lifted the Scottish Premiership with his side as the season in Scotland was called off. The report from Norway claims that he will definitely be sold but they see Tottenham Hotspur as the prime destination for the defender and note that he will carry a huge price tag.

As we reported about a week ago here, AC Milan are reportedly in advanced talks for the services of the centre back as they battle Leicester City for his services. Given the end of football for the season for Celtic FC - as the domestic season is called off and they were knocked out of the Europa League - the player will be focusing on his future from now until the summer. Ajer could be a very important cog for Milan as a long term partner for Alessio Romagnoli at the heart of the defence, he has significant experience for his age and would be the first Norwegian player to wear the Red and Black jersey since Steinar Nilsen in 1998.
