Portuguese outlet A Bola via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are barrelling forward with their interest for Benfica starlet Florentino Luis for the summer. The report notes that Milan are looking to close the deal they missed out on in the winter transfer window due to Benfica's high asking price. Milan will look to sign the 21 year old holding midfielder to partner with Ismael Bennacer by offering a player plus cash deal.

Milan had attempted to sign him on an 18 month loan with a buy out clause set at 40 million euros but Benfica wanted more. Milan will thus look to bring this figure down by including Lucas Paqueta in the deal. The Brazil international has struggled to find his footing at the club under Stefano Pioli and has been linked to numerous moves away especially as part of swap deals for Milan to recover the money they spent on him just over a year ago.
