L’Equipe are reporting that AC Milan goalkeeper Pepe Reina who is currently on loan in the Premier League with Aston Villa is a target for French champions PSG as the backup goalkeeper. The keeper is unhappy at Milan given the lack of playing time due to the presence of Gianluigi Donnarumma and is getting to a point where a permanent exit from the club seems extremely likely following this 6 month loan away.

The report indicates that PSG would consider a swap deal for the veteran. Reina's contract expires next summer but the report rather surprisingly states that Alphonse Areola could be included in the deal who has a contract until 2023 with PSG. The France international is currently on loan at Real Madrid but has struggled to hold down a key place in France and Spain over the past couple of seasons.
