Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan centre back Matteo Musacchio is being targeted by a number of clubs in the La Liga. The Argentina international joined the Rossoneri from Villareal to partner with Alessio Romagnoli but has struggled to hold down his spot being replaced initially by Leonardo Bonucci and more recently by Simon Kjaer. The centre back is being monitored by Valencia and Real Betis for a return to Spain after three seasons in Italy.
@cmdotcom: Valencia is interested in Mateo Musacchio if an offer of more than 10 million euros were to arrive, it would be considered. There is also Betis Sevilla who is interested in Musacchio. https://t.co/tGseBLkGeJ

The centre back has no immediate desire to leave but has a contract expiring in 2021 and no signs of a renewal. It is reported that if an offer in the region of 10 million euros arrives for the 29 year old defender, Milan will gladly accept it. There are also reports of interest from Sevilla in the veteran defender. He has played 73 games for the Rossoneri thus far.
