Daniele Longo of Calcio Mercato and Matteo Calcagni of MilanNews.it are both reporting that AC Milan are intensifying their contacts for Hungary international and RB Salzbrug midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. The 19 year old has been at the centre of transfers rumours for weeks now with Milan and Lazio the two vying for his services in Italy. The midfielder has been impressive in the Austrian Bundesliga and the Champions League this season as part of a trailblazing side where he managed to score 4 goals and provide 7 assists in all competitions.

RB Salzburg are reportedly valuing the player at about 20 million euros but expect somewhat of an auction given the breadth of interest in the player. The midfielder has a contract with the club until 2022 but could look to move on this year. The report from Calcagni also indicates that Rangnick could tip the scale in Milan's favour given the links between him and the Austrian club.
