Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are exploring a potentially tempting offer for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali in the summer transfer window. The report indicates that the young midfielder is a huge prospect and at the top of the list for Milan. Unfortunately, the Italy U21 international is in high demand both in Serie A with the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan and outside with the likes of Manchester United. Given his large asking price of about 50 million euros, Milan will look to undercut the transfer fee with three youngsters that Brescia could definitely use in Serie B next season as their relegation is all but confirmed.

Milan will look to include either centre back Matteo Gabbia, goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari or midfielder Tommaso Pobega in the deal to lower the price. Potentially even including multiple players in the mix. The deal could be very attractive for Brescia as they could still receive 30-35 million euros plus three key youngsters. With the club in Serie B, they would struggle for top talent that could get them back to Serie A as soon as possible. Gabbia, Plizzari and Pobega are three massive young talents who have played complete seasons and could greatly support the current squad. Milan's edge in the pursuit of Tonali is that he is a Rossonero through and through, moreover his idol is Gennaro Gattuso. Plizzari could stay in the event that Donnarumma is sold as he could take the helm thereafter. Milan seem to be going all in for Tonali and he could finally end the midfield woes of the club.
