Franck Kessie has looked like a transformed player in 2020 as Stefano Pioli has deployed him to take advantage of his strengths in a more defensive role alongside Ismael Bennacer. The Ivory Coast international is looking more like the rock solid midfielder from his first season at the club. He has controlled the midfield well and begun to use his physical presence effectively whilst significantly improving his passing and forward distribution. As a result, the talks of Milan cashing in on him have proliferated again. The former Atalanta man has never been short of suitors especially in the Premier League. New reports from Calcio Mercato and CalcioMercato24 indicate that Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United are keeping an eye on the Ivorian.

In that time, he has picked up a remarkable 120 appearances in all competitions and has scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists. It remains to be seen is Kessie would fit into Ralf Rangnick’s plans but he does seem to fit the mould. On the other hand, Kessie is the likeliest player outside of Donnarumma and Romagnoli to command a huge fee but would not represent a major capital gain.
