Bild are reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt are very impressed by Andre Silva and his growth in the Bundesliga this season. The club are looking to negotiate with AC Milan and to set a price ahead of the end of the season to ensure there is no price hike after the Euro 2020. Silva will be representing Portugal alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix, thus a strong showing from him could drive his price up. Silva has historically performed much better in international matches thus the conclusion from Frankfurt is clever. Silva has 8 goals and 4 assist in all competitions for the German side this season. Frankfurt are working to include a buyout clause in the current contract that can be redeemed at the end of the current two year loan deal.

On the other hand, Milan will potentially look favourably on this proposition for negotiations as they look to redeem Ante Rebic as well. The Croatia international has had a monstrous impact for Milan in 2020 scoring 7 goals and providing 1 assist. There was a recent report here that stated Frankfurt could ask for between 35-40 million euros for him. Given Silva's resurgence and admiration in Germany, Milan could write off most of the Rebic purchase. A direct permanent swap could be an option as well if both clubs are open.
