As the reports on Ralf Rangnick to AC Milan have intensified yesterday, a major report came from German outlet Bild that quoted close collaborators confirming the move. The report notes that Rangnick wants to bring a number of close associates with him to manage Milan when he takes over in the summer. The former RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg coach has worked with numerous scouts and advisers in his time at Red Bull and some are rumoured to join him on this new journey. The report also notes that current directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban will not have space to operate and could be forced out when Rangnick joins.
The official announcement of Boban’s departure from Milan is expected shortly. Maldini’s position is also at risk. It’s expected that Gazidis bring his own directors with Rangnick almost certainly on the Milan benchhttps://t.co/qH5MYM2Wi5

MilanLive.it are reporting that Rangnick could attempt to lure Paul Mitchell to Milan with him. Mitchell is the Technical Director of Red Bull International Soccer and was formerly at RB Leipzig. The arrival of Rangnick seems all but certain as Ivan Gazidis seems to have accelerated his pursuit after Zvonimir Boban’s public comments against the CEO this past week as we reported here.
