Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are keeping an eye of two Serie A shot stoppers in case Gianluigi Donnarumma leaves this summer. The young prodigy seems likely to exit the club as CEO Iva Gazidis imposes salary caps and the club missing out on the Champions League again. Milan are tracking Alex Meret and Juan Musso.
Napoli's Meret has lost his place in the starting eleven under Gennaro Gattuso and coudl use a revival. He made 15 appearances this season and kept 3 clean sheets. He shows a lot of promise but is too error prone to be compared to Gigio. Udinese's Musso have been a breakout star of Serie A this season. He has 26 games under his belt this season and has kept 9 clean sheets greatly supporting the side. Both would be good options but the priority should be renewing Gigio as he blow the duo out of the water.
