The National are reporting that AC Milan and AS Roma were present at Rangers versus Sporting Braga in the Europa League. The teams were scouting Borna Barisic as a potential summer signing to back up Theo Hernandez at left back. The Croatia international has 2 goals this season but has a staggering 14 assists in all competitions. He has featured 36 times across competitions for the Scottish side.

The 27 year old is playing some of the best football of his life under Steven Gerrard this season and could be a cheap option to reinforce our depth at left back. Milan currently have Diego Laxalt as the back up after his loan to Torino was cut short but he has not been a convincing option.
