AC Milan have announced via their website that midfielder Rade Krunic is out for at least a month due to a fracture in his right foot. The midfielder has been a key player off the bench and as a rotation for Frank Kessie this season. He is expected to undergo conservative treatment to avoid surgery. He will be reassessed after a month to determine whether this has healed.

The midfielder arrived from Empoli this summer and has made 11 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has started 6 games, 4 in the league and 2 in the cup. Over that time he has provided one assist and picked up three yellow cards. His injury opens the door for Lucas Biglia to make an appearance during February and March. Alternatively, Pioli could give Primavera captain Brescianini a run at the first team.
