La Repubblica via MilanNews.it today reported that 5 new figures joined AC Milan in a variety of commercial roles yesterday. The club via Sempre Milan noted 2 new additions of an E-commerce and Retail Director and a Venue Director. The other three additions are unknown and unconfirmed. Milan are attempting to gear up the commercial value give the recent dips and specifically need to work on revenue generated from sponsorship and sales (tickets/merchandise/etc).
Today it was announced that I will be joining @acmilan on April 1st, after more than six amazing years af F.C. Copenhagen. A huge thank you to my family for supporting me in this great adventure❤️ but for now I need to do my outmost for a very special Club before I leave! pic.twitter.com/J0Jh1nzEW1

The additions to the management follow the appointment of Alex Rasmussen as the club's new Sponsorship Director last month. The former FC Copenhagen Sales Director worked on deals with Unibet, Carlsberg and Adidas to boost sponsorship. He also sold the naming rights of one of the stadium stands to a mobile network company. Rasmussen will only join the Rossoneri on April 1st. His role will be critical given the recent Emirates deal renewal debacle that we reported here.
