Calcio Mercato are claiming that AC Milan's reserve regista Lucas Biglia could exit the club earlier than expected. The 34 year old has been sidelined by Milan for the past two seasons playing second fiddle to Tiemoue Bakayoko and now Ismael Bennacer. The midfielder has not had a major role in the plans at the club due to his recurring injuries and his inconsistent performances on the pitch.

The report indicates that the Argentina international could move back home to join Boca Juniors as they need an experienced midfielder to replace the now retired Daniele de Rossi who chose not to renew his contract. The market in Argentina closes on the 19th of February. The could also be offers from the MLS for the midfielder. He currently costs Milan 3.5 million euros a year and has a contract expiring in the summer.
