The fund reportedly turned away an offer of 1 billion euros which Friedkin presented directly to the Singer family.
American billionaire Daniel Friedkin has attempted a last minute blitz to purchase Milan. He negotiated directly with the Singer family putting €1B on the table, but Elliott rejected his attempt. He is about to complete the acquisition of Romahttps://t.co/x5jd0tarOx— Milan Eye (@MilanEye) February 1, 2020
Following the negative response, Friedkin turned away as he was closing on on a deal with Roma which looks soon to materialise. Elliot reportedly did not see the offer as a fair deal for the club thus turned it down. James Pallotta - the current owner of Roma - looks to end about 8 years of ownership with a 750 million takeover.
