AC Milan have announced that youngster Matteo Gabbia has signed a contract extension with the club in the same week where he bagged his first start. Gabbia replaced Simon Kjaer after an injury two weeks ago and played a solid 45 minutes in his first league appearance and followed that up with his first start in the league against Fiorentina this past weekend. The Primavera product spent last season on loan at Lucchese where he was a regular fixture in the starting eleven.
