MilanNews.it are noting that Stefano Pioli could rotate two key players in the fixture against Genoa to prepare for the Coppa Italia. Pioli will look to rest Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Calabria for the mid week fixture as the Rossoneri will miss out on Samu Castillejo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez for the trip to Turin. Milan will also miss Gianluigi Donnarumma for the fixture as he is out with an ankle injury making way for Asmi Begovic to get his first start. Matteo Gabbia could also start again in place of Simon Kjaer who is out injured too.

Milan face Genoa on Sunday in the league but have Juventus away in the Cup on Wednesday. Milan are in the semi final and holding on to a 1-1 draw after a strong display. Juventus are in crisis with losses to Hellas Verona and Napoli in the league as well as a loss to Lyon in the Champions League last night. The side also face Inter Milan on Sunday thus will likely rotate in the Cup following back to back crunch ties in the UCL and Serie A.
