Fabrizio Romano via Calcio Mercato is reporting that AC Milan have received approval from Matias Zaracho for a transfer after their intense contacts during the January transfer window when the club pursued the youngster. Milan are currently negotiating a deal with Racing Club for the attacking midfielder. The 21 year old has scored 4 times this season for his club and provided 1 assist. He has been capped by the Argentina U23 side 8 times and was called up to the first team 4 times last year.
@FabrizioRomano : Matías Zaracho has agreed to join Milan this summer despite the interests of other Spanish clubs. Racing asks for 25 million euros while Milan values it at 15 million euros pic.twitter.com/RuLQkpEJdn— TeamMilanAC (@TeamMilanAC) February 26, 2020
The player has reportedly showed his interest and approval to join the Rossoneri. Augustin Jimenez - the player's agent - had been inconstant contact with Milan in January but a deal failed to materialise. The clubs seem to have quite some distance on the valuations of the player as Racing wants 25 million euros while Milan are offering 15 million euros. This financial disparity needs to be overcome for the deal to be completed in the summer.
