SportBusiness are reporting that AC Milan has undergone as 7.5% boost to ticket sales just 6 months after joining forces with London based WePlay. The digital marketing agency has helped the club significantly by increasing their digital engagement. 25% of the growth is attributed to sales to new audiences - i.e. have never watch a game at the San Siro before. Milan's average attendance has risen to 54,000 this season from 37,000 in 2015-16.

The club is focused on developing the brand globally and is focusing on getting matches to be a destination event.
