AC Milan officially announced their acquisition of Alexis Saelemaekers from Anderlecht on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy. The right midfielder is a direct replacement for Suso as the back up to Samu Castillejo in the 4-4-2. The reported figures for the deal are a 3.5 million euro loan and the option to buy for a further 3.5 million.

The versatile youngster can play as a right midfielder, right winger and attacking midfielder. He has scored 2 goals this season and provided 4 assists in all competitions. He has also been capped by the Belgium U21 side and will become the 4th Belgian to play for the club.
