With the Group Stages coming to a close, both teams sit in very different positions. AC Milan need 3 points to aim for top spot and make it into the knockout stages, while Celtic FC sit dead last needing everything to go their way to collect the next 6 points in the remaining 2 games. Milan and Celtic last clashed in October with Milan comfortably winning 3–1.

For Milan, this year needs to be the year that Champions League Football is achieved. Currently sitting in 1st place in the league, gives them a great chance but with knockout stages in the Europa League also seemingly strong, the team will want to double those odds and get through.

Celtic for the first time in years look like they might fall short in the league, and are having a tough time in pleasing the fans. A game like this away and against a top team, could be the change in fortune they desire.

Who to Watch?

The young CB has made his presence felt with some top performances and more time on the field. Nights like these are where he can continue to show that in important games, he can prove his worth and keep strong opposition at bay.

With Milan aiming to keep the rotation of players up, Krunic will have another chance to show his value, providing work rate and attacking play from the midfield. He has yet to impress enough to make a claim for a starting position, so tonight would be a good time to provide key goals and assists.

Odsonne Edouard

The 6 foot 1 forward will want to be the main man in tonight’s game, with Celtic needing someone to step up and fire the team forward. A lot is expected of the 22-year-old, and his physicality could be enough to cause Milan problems.

Prediction: Milan 2–0 Celtic
