Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan will be entering the transfer window in search of an attacker specifically a striker who can cover for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in case of injury or any other absences. They are reporting that Memphis Depay is an option but only if he is sold at a cut rate price given his contract expires in the summer and he is not looking to renew with Lyon. Likelier names are Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo or Arek Milik from Napoli or even some young talents.
Fabrizio Romano on his podcast via Route One Football is refuting the claim that Milan are in for Depay noting that the only club in for him are Barcelona at the moment. The Catalan club reportedly has a contract agreement with the attacker and the connection with Ronald Koeman will likely ensure he ends up in Spain soon. Romano interestingly notes that Milan will prioritise bringing in a centre back first.
