Calcio e Finanza are reporting on salaries of some executives in Italian football and the salaries for AC Milan's CEO and President have been revealed. Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Scaroni both joined the club in the aftermath of the Chinese ownership when the American hedge fund Elliot Management took over.
Milan's CEO Gazidis who has been leading the commercial turnaround of the club through a wealth of partnership agreements reportedly earns €3.15 million euros a year gross with a contract until 2022. After taxes, he will receive about half of that figure.
Milan's President Scaroni who has been leading on the strategic direction of the club especially the new stadium project reportedly earns €200,000 euros per year gross. He will reportedly earn an additional €400,000 per year for work on the stadium project. This figure will similarly be about halved after taxes.
Milan are in first place at Christmas for the time in over a decade just two and a half seasons into the tenures of Gazidis and Scaroni.
