AC Milan have announced via their website that CEO Ivan Gazidis has been appointed to a key role as one of the European Club Association's (ECA) representative in the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) on a three year term. He will also be joining the Executive Board of the ECA as a full member. Gazidis also sits on the FIFA Stakeholders Committee and chairs the ECA Competitions Working Group. This represents an important step forward for Milan in the world of corporate football and the positions will invariably help the voice of the club be heard.

The PFSC is a body which brings together several key stakeholder groups of European football: UEFA, Clubs, Professional Leagues and Players’ Associations. The ECA is the body representing the interests of professional football clubs at a European level.

Gazidis will be one of four ECA representatives in the PFSC alongside Pedro Lopez Rimenez (Real Madrid CF), Edwin van der Sar (AFC Ajax) and Peter Lawwell (Celtic FC).
