Calciomercato.it are reporting that AC Milan are looking to swoop in for Napoli outcast Fernando Llorente as they struggle with a lack of out and out strikers. The idea could be very interesting for both player and club but still needs some work.
Journalist Carlo Alvino is reporting that Milan are interested in Llorente given the precarious nature of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's injuries. The former Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur striker has not played a single game under Gennaro Gattuso this season and will likely look to move on in the January transfer window as a result. The report notes that Milan have intensified talks with the striker and note that he has given his word to Sampdoria but could change his mind given the circumstance.
AS via Calcio Mercato are reporting that Claudio Ranieri has been chasing the striker since the summer and Sampdoria will put up a fight for him against Milan who consider him as a last minute fix for the striking crisis.
