AC Milan Agree Personal Terms With Strasbourg Centre Back; Distance On Transfer Fee Reduced

Milan desperately need to add one more quality centre back to secure the rotation and he is it.

Journalist Ekrem Konur is also reporting that AC Milan have agreed personal terms with the young centre back Mohamed Simakan since the summer. The report goes on to state that Milan have offered the French side 10 million euros for their defender but the club want 15 million euros. This threatens to deadlock the deal as with the deadline day attempt as Milan are not likely to break the bank. The 20 year old is also likely to push for a move away given the poor start to the season from his side and their ongoing relegation battle.

Sempre Milan have an exclusive interview with the journalist who offers the following:

On the terms: “I do not have a clear figure about the salary, but it is said that it is around 1-1.5 million euros. Agreement on a 5-year contract.”

On an agreement between the clubs: “Obviously, there is not much difference. Transfers always have a bargain margin. I think Milan will pay whatever money they want.”

On the player: “His strengths are: – His effectiveness in the air – His speed – Aggressiveness, courage and diligence.”
