Calciomercato.it are reporting that AC Milan are looking at Golden Boy and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland as a potential replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the end of this season.

Claudio Raimondi via Planeta Milan is reporting that Milan are interested in the phenomenal striker who is represented by Mino Raiola and is a good friend of fellow Norway international Jens Petter Hauge. He adds that Haaland has asked Hauge about the atmosphere in Milan. The striker would cost a fortune but can be easily discussed as Raiola represents multiple Milan players hence is in close contact with Maldini and Co.

Haaland often refers to Ibrahimovic as one of his idols and is quite fond of Hauge, providing two solid links with Milan but also his agent Raiola is an intrinsic part of the Milan system representing captain Alessio Romagnoli, cult hero Gianluigi Donnarumma and veteran Ibrahimovic.

Haaland spoke on Hauge via MilanNews.it:

“In my life I have had many idols, I try to learn as much as possible from the other strikers. Ibrahimovic is one of the best ever and I try to learn as much as possible from him, he is one of my idols.”

“Hauge is doing well and we are very good friends, he is a great talent. He plays for a beautiful club and at a very good club. He has to continue to work hard and play like that, he has a great career ahead of him. My dream is to win the Champions League.”

Raiola via Tutto Mercato Web has said:

“Haaland in Italy? You never know. I think a move to Italy is not to be excluded.”
