AC Milan were well rested and ready to continue their unbeaten streak against Parma. Milan saw Ismael Bennacer slot back into his starting position but injuries to key players saw Matteo Gabbia and Samu Castillejo get picked in the starting eleven. Early on in the match Milan defender Matteo Gabbia went down with what seemed like a bad knee injury. In his place 20 year old Pierre Kalulu stepped up. Milan dominated the match but in the 13th minute Parma struck on the counter attack leading to a very easy goal. With Parma up one goal, Milan answered well bringing the pressure. Milan even scored ten minutes later but it was ruled offside. Near the end of the first half Milan hit back to back posts just minutes apart and the game remained with Parma leading by one.

The second half was parallel to the first with Milan completely dominating the game but Parma taking advantage of their opportunities. Milan made a few subs bringing on Rafael Leao and Jans Petter Hague for more fire power. Milan struck the post again in the 52nd minute and it really seemed like they just weren't gonna score in this match. Just minutes after Milan struck the post Parma scored again doubling their lead. However Milan were not dead and two minutes later Theo Hernandez scored to bring them back within one. Milan continued to dominate but couldn't find that second goal. In the dying embers of the match it was Theo Hernandez again who scored for Milan levelling the match at two. Milan even had chances to win the match but couldn't find that touch to finish.

STARTING LINE-UP

Gianluigi Donnarumma: Gigio couldn't do much on the first goal but he did get a touch on their second. Maybe he could have done a bit better to save that but that’s nit picking. Also nice dribbling skills. 6.5/10

Davide Calabria: Another very good performance from Davide. He was locking down that right side and he was readily getting involved in the attack. 7/10

Matteo Gabbia: Came off so early in the match N/A

Alessio Romagnoli: Alessio along with most defenders on the backline played fairly well. Nothing really got past him even with playing such a high line. 6.5/10

Theo Hernandez: Theo was a monster today and literally the only reason why Milan didn't drop all their points. I could probably give him a 10/10 cause he was so close to flawless. 8.7/10

Franck Kessie: This wasn't Francks best match. With he ball at his feet he was alright but tracking back was a big issue. I am not blaming both goal on him but him and Bennacer equally. 6/10

Ismael Bennacer: As previously mentioned I fell that Bennacer as well could have been better tracking back. If the midfield sees someone making a run and overloading the defence then it is their job to help out. 6/10

Samu Castillejo: Samu didn't do much of anything in his 45 minutes on the pitch. He was swinging in mediocre crosses but nobody was there to capitalize. 6/10

Hakan Calhanoglu: Hakan is hard to grade in this match because he did create but he was also so wasteful. He hit the post 3 times and he just has to capitalize on one of those chances. Other times he was just giving the ball away for free. 5.7/10

Brahim Diaz: I do not understand why Brahim Diaz starts in the middle and Hakan is moved to the left. As the season goes on it doesn't seem like Brahim is the difference maker he was originally thought to be. 5.5/10

Ante Rebic: Ante too was very wasteful in this match. It also seemed like he didn't want the ball at his feet and just gave it away. Either Leao has to be the backup striker or we need to buy one in January. 5/10

SUBSTITUTES

Pierre Kalulu: I was impressed again by Kalulu. He almost contained Gervinho but the ball slipped past him on the first goal. He looked very calm and composed for his first Serie A start. 6.5/10

Jans Petter Hauge: Hauge was not a difference maker in this match. He didn't look as decisive as he usually does and it seemed that he was a bit timid on the ball. 5.5/10

Rafael Leao: Like Hauge, Leao didn't do much but this was because whenever Rafa had the ball he was swarmed by 3 Parma defenders, can't blame him much for that. 5.5/10

Sandro Tonali: Tonali only had about 15 minutes of game time and just came in and did his job but nothing exceptional. 6/10
