It is likely that for this game, familiar faces will once again lead the line for AC Milan. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer are still recovering and not take part however, Milan will have access to the majority of players for selection.

Parma has quite a few injuries and will be missing some important names including Juraj Kucka and Alberto Grassi, so they will be relying on the experience of Bruno Alves and Gervinho to take anything from tonight’s game.

In the last meeting, Parma started very well, taking a 1:0 lead and causing problem after problem with counter-attacking and direct play. In that game, Gervinho played a key part in creating space and providing the opening for Grassi to assist.

Milan did turn it around, but will not want to suffer making the same mistakes this time around.

Players to Watch

Jasmin Kurtic

He scored in the last Milan meeting and will be again the man leading Parma’s attack. He hasn’t enjoyed a great season so far, with 1 in 8, but will be the central threat to Milan’s defense.

The speed and direct running of Gervinho need no introduction, and with 4 goals in 9 appearances this season, if he can avoid injury and find consistent game time, he will cause Serie A defenses all types of problems.

Filling in the central position, Rebic has worked hard and made openings for the Milan team. He has openly said he finds playing wide more comfortable, but until Ibrahimovic or Leao return, he will continue to be deployed as the central threat. Tonight will be a tricky encounter, and Rebic will need to find goals.
