AC Milan travelled to the Czech Republicfor their final fixture of the Europa League group stages having secured qualification to the next round with a 4-2 win over Celtic FC last week. Stefano Pioli took the opportunity to heavily rotate the squad giving an opportunity to the youngsters to get some game time. Surprisingly, the likes of Daniel Maldini and Pierre Kalulu got starts alongside the expected Andrea Conti (wearing the captain's armband), Diogo Dalot, Jens Petter Hauge and Lorenzo Colombo. The game was managed well by Milan and there were only two things of note to take away. Firstly, Hauge continues to shine with his moments of magic; he weaves his way through the defence and slots the ball just past the keeper to score the winner and continue his great form. Secondly, Kalulu demonstrated that he is a player for the future and a hell of a defender; he bossed the Sparta attack and was always calm, collected and in control. Milan top the Group H finishing with 13 points in 6 games. The draw for the round of 32 will take place next week.
