MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan striker Rafael Leao has recovered from his injury and will be available for the match against Sparta Prague in the Europa League tonight. The Portugal U21 international has been out for a few matches leaving Milan with limited options in attack. His return will be welcome as he looked threatening in the early parts of the season. He already has 3 goals and 3 assists in all competitions.

As reported by Antonio Vitiello, Leao trained with the rest of the group yesterday. He also trained with the group the day before and will likely be available in Prague as he has travelled with the team. It is a good opportunity for him to get some game time in a low pressure environment.

Stefano Pioli in the press conference via MilanNews.it said:

“Leao is better and is available for tomorrow. I would like him to play a part of the match, he has been out for a few weeks, but I hope to have him play a part.”
