AC Milan Will Scout Promising Centre Back In Hellas Verona Game Tomorrow

The defender could be a cheaper option and one with some experience in Serie A.

Il Corriere di Verona via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan are one of the clubs watching young Hellas Verona centre back Matteo Lovato who has impressed early on in the season. The 20 year old defender joined Verona from Padova in the winter transfer window of the previous season and has now got the opportunity to be a protagonist for his side where he has started as six games keeping three clean sheets and only conceding 1 goal each against Juventus, Parma and Benevento.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan have already made some initial contacts to feel the ground for the promising defender. He is considered to be a fir for Stefano Pioli's system and Milan are in desperate need for defensive reinforcements. The price tag is expected to be between 15-20 million euros and Milan will wnat to secure the deal in the coming window.

Milan face Verona in the league tomorrow night and the game will be a preview of the defender and the club wil be scouting him.
