Football Insider are reporting that AC Milan left back Diego Laxalt who joined Celtic FC on loan is wanted by the club on a permanent deal after impressing in his first few months at the club. Milan have reportedly informed Celtic that the value of the player is about 5 million euros. Milan were looking to sell him over the summer but could not close a deal especially with Lokomotiv Moscow but the asking price then was about 10 million euros for the 27 year old left back. There is no reason for the decline of the price especially since his impressive performances in Scotland and his good connection with the fans.
Laxalt joined Milan as competition for Ricardo Rodriguez but struggled to break into the starting eleven, thereafter Theo Hernandez joined sidelining both the former left back and he was sent out on loan to Torino at the start of the previous season. He was recalled when Rodriguez left but could not take any game time away from Hernandez who exploded onto the scene.
