MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan will get a small boost ahead of their fixture against Lille as Stefano Pioli will have two players back from the sidelines. Young centre back Matteo Gabbia has recovered from the coronavirus and joined training with the group this week and could be used to rotate Alessio Romagnoli who has only recently recovered from injury and has looked a little shaky since his return. Gabbia and Simon Kjaer partnered up quite well in the final games of the previous season and the early ones of this season. Another MilanNews.it report suggests that right winger Samu Castillejo who missed the trip to Udinese due to a late injury - a muscle strain - has also recovered and will be available for the Lille tie. He returned to group training yesterday and has been used frequently in the Europa League.
