MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are hapy with the development of attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz who is on loan from Real Madrid for the season. Milan reportedly have a 'gentleman's agreement’ over the permanent move of the youngster to the San Siro. The clubs have a good relationship and there are two options on the table.

  • Loan renewal until 2022 with the option to buy (and possibly buy back option).
  • Permanent move in the summer.

Diaz has scored 3 goals in 8 games of which 4 have been starts.

MilanNews.it are also reporting that Milan will hold discussions to bring the Spain U21 international to Milan permanently at the end of the season and note that Madrid value the player at about €25 million euros. The former Manchester City youngster is considered to be a key addition to the squad especially given the tough situation with the renewal of starter and no. 10 Hakan Calhanoglu who is demanding a huge wage.
