Bild are uncovering the hatch on the secretive transfer swap between AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt this past summer transfer window . Milan wanted to keep versatile attacker Ante Rebic who spent this season on loan at the club where he scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists helping Milan recover their season in the second half following a disatrous start. Andre Silva performed similarly well in the Bundesliga in the second half of the season especially following the return of football after the coronavirus pause scoring 16 goals and providing 5 assists to help Frankfurt avoid the drop. Silva has kept up this season with 6 goals and 2 assists in 8 games thus far however Rebic has started with injury and suspension issues only contributing no goals and 2 assists in 7 games.

The report states that Milan sold Silva for 3 million euros and bought Rebic for 5 million euros. Fiorentina had a 50% sell on clause hence 2.5 million went to them.
