AC Milan faced LOSC Lille in France for the return fixture in the UEFA Europa League group stages after a bitter 3-0 defeat at home a few weeks ago. Milan were missing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers as well as manager Stefano Pioli and his assistant Giacomo Murelli. Milan looked refreshed in the first half taking the game to the opponents but a number of the players looked rough around the edges especially Ante Rebic and Jens Petter Hauge who had good opportunities but looked a tad slow with their decision making. Milan broke through early in the second half when Tonali played a beautiful through ball slicing open Lille's defence for Rebic who pulled the keeper and defenders out before squaring the ball back for Samu Castillejo to tap in for the opener. Milan seemed a little complacent thereafter and were punished when Lille brought on some substitutes who caught Milan's defence napping of a throw in for Bamba to equalise. The draw means Milan must win their final games as Sparta Prague are only one point below them.
