MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has undergone further tests that have shown he has picked up an injury to his left hamstring muscle. The striker scored a brace but pulled up after crossing the ball into the box clutching at his thigh. He is expected to be further evaluated in 10 days which will rule him out of the fixtures against Lille, Fiorentina and Celtic FC at the least.

In a separate report, MilanNews.it are reporting that the former Sweden international is eyeing a return against Parma in mid December which would mean he misses five games in a 2-3 week spell.

Manuele Baiocchini is reporting that the worry is that Ibrahimovic could miss about three to four weeks as a result of the injury which would rule out out until the end of the Christmas break. This would be devastating for Milan as he has been in stunning form scoring 11 goals in all competitions in about three months of football.
