Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan and Celtic FC will likely soon open discussions for the permanent move of left back Diego Laxalt as he has impressed in Scotland already during his loan spell. Milan faced Celtic in the UEFA Europa League where Laxalt played and was one the most noticeable players on the pitch. The report notes that these discussions can move forward when Celtic travel to Milan in December for the return match in the group stages. Maldini and Massara have thus far done well in selling the unwanted players at the club through similar loan deals followed by a redemption such as with Suso, Andre Silva, Ricardo Rodriguez and Gustavo Gomez.
The report goes further to include the possibility of Celtic's centre back Kristoffer Ajer being included in the talks as Milan were watching him throughout the summer as they continue to find a strong addition to the defensive unit.
