ESPN are reporting that AC Milan intend to sign the right back Diogo Dalot permanently from Manchester United following the conclusion of his year long loan this summer. The Portuguese defender has impressed in his few games especially on the attacking front. United are reportedly reluctant to open talks over a permanent move as they see him as a player for the future and hence would not want to give Milan the option to sign him. The defender moved to Old Trafford for 22 million euros from FC Porto in 2018 and reportedly is admired by the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United want the right back to pick up regular playing time with Milan and return to play an impactful role in England as he already has 1 goal and 1 assist thus far.
