AC Milan have been monitoring loanee Tommasso Pobega who is on loan at Spezia in Serie A for the season. The midfielder has put in very impressive performances in the top flight and has even scored for the national side in recent weeks. The director of sport at Spezia spoke to the press to confirm the existence of a buy out clause and a buy back clause. This makes it very likely that Pobega returns to Milan at the end of the season and gets the opportunity to fight for a place in the rotation.

Mauro Meluso, the director of Spezia spoke to Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting

“Pobega is in a magical moment and we are happy about this. We are very happy, but we would have been more if Milan had granted us a buy-out option without the buy-back clause.”

“However, Milan and their sporting director Massara know well that he is a player of perspective and for this reason, they did not want to give him up permanently.”
