AC Milan have announced via their website that manager Stefano Pioli has tested psoitive for the coronavirus after a quick test yesterday morning. The manager is now the fourth member of staff following Daniele Bonera and two others to contract COVID-19. The cases amongst the squad have been plentiful in recent weeks which should raise concerns on the viability of the season continuing given the risk to the player's and staff health. Thankfully all cases have been asymptomatic or with only mild symptoms to this point. Milan have informed the health authorities and the manager is in quarantine. The training session yesterday was cancelled and the rest of the group all tested negative. We wish the manager a speedy recovery and cannot wait to have him back in action.
