BILD via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are still interested in RB Leipzig centre back Nordi Mukiele after the player was considered in the summer transfer window as he is a cheaper alternative to counterpart Dayot Upamecano. The centre back has a contract until 2023 and is being watched by a wealth of clubs. The 22 year old has been slowly breaking into the first team and establishing himself as a top choice for his coach Julian Nagelsmann. Milan would reportedly have to offer around 30 million euros for the signature of the young defender.
Meanwhile, Gianluca di Marzio via MilanLive.it in the summer stated that Leipzig were looking to sell the versatile centre back for about 20 million euros. The valuation could have changed as a result of his rise in the pecking order but also due to the tough market for quality centre backs in European football.
