MilanNews.it are now also reporting the interest of AC Milan in Borussia Mönchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram. The report notes that Milan's manager Stefano Pioli is interested in the striker for his versatility as he can be deployed as a striker or a left winger similar to Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic and seems to have expressed his appreciation of him to the management.
A previous report from Bild noted Milan's interest but went on to demonstrate that other big clubs were interested in the transfer including Juventus and Barcelona after the solid season last year and the fiery start this season from the youngster.
The striker has 3 goals and 6 assists across all competitions this season and has even been called up to France's national team following in the footsteps of his father Lillian Thuram. The 23 year old is a solid candidate to potentially replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the end of the season but Milan could use a more out and out striker.
