AC Milan via their website have confirmed that three Rossoneri players have recovered from the coronavirus and tested negative after being out for a number of games. Matteo Gabbia, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jens Petter Hauge who tested positive for the coronavirus in the past couple of weeks have now all recovered and tested negative, Gabbia will have a medical screening today before he can train with the team whilst Donnarumma and Hauge - who were asymptomatic - will likely train too.

According to the statement, “The local health authorities have been informed and both players are authorized to return to training.”

Milan have now had five players in the first team test positive for the coronavirus and recover. The former two are Leo Duarte and Zlatan Ibrahimovic . Milan are playing twice a week in the Europa League and Serie A, hence the players returning will be a huge help especially Gabbia to ease the return of Alessio Romagnoli since his injury.
