AC Milan have announced via their website that goalkeeper and vice captain Gianluigi Donnarumma and new signing Jens Petter Hauge have tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of the fixture against AS Roma on Monday night. The report notes that both players are asymptomatic and have been in isolation since the confirmation of their results. This demonstrates the dire nature of the coronavirus where football is concerned as Milan have now registered their fifth case amongst the first team over the past few weeks whilst their entire youth team has been locked down due to an outbreak there. In addition to Donnarumma and Huge, three members of staff have also tested positive taking that toll up to four including Daniele Bonera from last week. Matteo Gabbia remains out with the coronavirus too at this point.

We wish the five Rossoneri players and staff a speedy recovery and can't wait to see them back in action as soon as possible.
