Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are interested in Dinamo Zagreb youngster Lovro Majer as a potential youth investment. The 22 year old is a highly rated midfielder in Croatia and is expected to follow in the path of modern box to box midfielders dominating physically but also contributing with goals and assists occasionally. He has a contract with his club until 2023 but is reportedly open to a move away.
The player is often compared to Ballon d’Or winner and World Cup finalist Luka Modric.
Planeta Milan are reporting that the operation could cost about 2.3 million euros and the player is being watch by the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Leeds United, Sevilla and Valencia alongside Milan. The player was scouted by Milan in the Europa League last week. The youngster follows the mould of Elliot's transfer plan which is buying young players with potential and hoping to maximise on the investment.
