MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan attacker Ante Rebic is effectively out of the derby della Madonnina this weekend against Inter Milan as the winger has not recovered in time. Milan's doctors want the Croatia international to take his recovery slow to ensure that he does not aggravate the injury further. The left winger dislocated his left elbow during the game against Crotone and has been out since. He was permanently signed this summer but has had a rocky start to the season as he has been suspended in European competitions thus missed all the Europa League qualification games followed by the injury.
The winger could be replaced by one of Samu Castillejo, Brahim Diaz or Rafael Leao in the starting line up as Alexis Saelemaekers looks set to start. The winger will be missed as his winning mentality and no-nonsense attitude strongly benefit the squad. Milan will need the squad fit and firing for a difficult string of games ahead.
