MilanNews.it are reporting that veteran AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to training today after his absence since contracting the coronavirus. The striker has been absent for about two weeks since testing positive for the coronavirus and has missed two appearances in Serie A and two in the Europa League despite a blistering start to the season where he scored 3 goals in 2 games. The former Sweden international reportedly tested negative for the coronavirus yesterday and will thus likely be able to make it back into the squad for the game set for the coming Saturday.
A breaking news report from Sky Italia is noting that Inter Milan now have a sixth positive case of the coronavirus in the squad as wing back Ashley Young who joined Inter from Manchester United has tested positive for COVID-19 and is at risk for the fixture. The side has been afflicted by a number of cases in the past week possibly putting the fixture at risk if the numbers continue to increase (however this is unlikely).
