AC Milan via their website are reporting that Milan Primavera qualified to the Primavera TIM Cup round of 16 after beating Monza. Milan drew 1-1 after 90 minutes with both goals coming in the first half. Frigerio managed to turn the ball into the back of the net after a corner kick just before half time. Milan had a couple of solid chances in the second half hitting the bar a few times but didn't manage to get a goal.

In extra time, Milan had a bit of a scare as the Rossoneri saw two red cards to Mionic for a foul and to Oddi for protesting. On top of that, Bosiso had to exit the pitch with an injury thus Milan completed the game with just 8 men on pitch.

Milan went on to win in the penalty shoot out 5-4 against Monza as Michelis, Di Gesu, Bright, El Hilali and Tonin all scored to hand Giunti side a key win.
